I have gone through and made a list of what diaries I have of whom, and what I am missing. I have for Lulie: 1881, 1882,1883, 1885, 1886, and am missing anything before 1881 (like her 1880 diary that Lulita published parts of), 1884, and anything she wrote after 1886. For Lulita: 1921(which I believe to be the first she wrote, gathered from reading the first entry), 1922, 1923-1924, 1927-1931, 1932-1936, 1937-1941, 1942-1946, 1947-1951, 1952-1956, 1957-1961, 1962-1966, 1967, 1968, 1974-1978, 1979-1983, 1984-1988, 1989-1990, I am missing 1925-1926, and 1967-1973. Lulita often wrote in 5-year-diaries so I am assuming that I am missing one 5-year and one or two other diaries to cover the years of 1925 and 1926. There is one diary that the author is unclear on- the cover of the diary has the letters "S.J. Crawford" on it (black leather, gold letters) and was written in during the year of 1892. In one of the back pages, it has an obituary taped in for "S. J. Crawford." However, there is no name handwritten inside of it; that makes me think it is not Lulie's because, I have found that she wrote her name in her diary(s) at least one time. Whether it was one of Lulie's diaries or S.J.'s I do not know..... Altogether I have 26 diaries (5 of Lulie's, 20 of Lulita's, and 1 author unclear) as for the missing diaries, I am assuming that Aunt Nancy has them down in Denver. In a few spare minutes, I have started to transcribe Lulie's 1881 diary, but havent gotten very far (to Feb 14), due to school (finals) and dad being addicted to some engeeing computer game.... While transcribing that diary, I have found that she kept records of every letter she got during that year, as well as what she bought and fininaces. Also it appears that Lulita had inserted a piece of paper with a note on it that reads "bottom of page 1; Family Bible". I do not know if it has any importance, but I thought I might pass it along...
